Our History

The “South Barrie Animal Hospital” had opened it’s doors in 2003 as the cat hospital of Barrie, servicing only our feline friends.

Few years later, the nature of the practice as well as the name have changed into the current south Barrie animal hospital and we opened our doors to our other four legged friends, the dogs. Since then we have been a full service veterinary clinic to both dogs and cats. The hospital has expanded it’s services and new procedures and treatments were added. In summer 2014, the hospital had undergone major renovations and improvements in its facility including new exam rooms, grooming section and a new user friendly website.
